Pine construction plywood is the panel we ship most. The core is laid up from selected pine veneers, kiln dried to a stable moisture content and bonded with phenol-formaldehyde resin under heat and pressure, then sanded on both faces.
Pine carries more stiffness per kilo than the poplar cores normally used for commercial grades, which is why it suits building work: sheeting, formwork backing, decking underlay and anywhere the panel has to stay flat and carry load without gaining weight.
It is a working panel rather than a furniture face. Expect natural pine colour variation and the odd sound knot — this grade is assessed for structure and stability, not for showroom appearance.
